Shelly London
2009 ALI Fellow

Prior to ALI, Shelly London was a senior corporate marketing and communications executive. She served as an SVP at AT&T with global responsibilities until recruited to become a member of the senior leadership team of American Standard Companies.  She worked on successful product launches and turnarounds, as well as M&A, crisis management and culture change. 

Since ALI, Shelly has become an educator, nonprofit leader, and advisor. For 15 years, she has taught ethics-related courses at NYU’s Stern School of Business. She served as founding president of a $500 million foundation. She spearheaded the creation of award-winning initiatives that have been proven effective and supported millions, including Quandary, The Family Dinner Project and Understood.org. Shelly received the Senator Robert Dole Humanitarian Award for service to people with disabilities.
