Brooke Coburn

Brooke Coburn brings to ALI high-growth entrepreneurial experience in multinational private equity, currently serving on the management committee of The Carlyle Group, one of the world’s largest private equity firms. He also serves as deputy chief investment officer of the firm’s real assets segment and was a founding member of its U.S. middle market buyout, growth capital, and renewable energy businesses.

Brooke serves as a trustee of the Washington National Cathedral, chairman of the investment committee at the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral foundation, trustee of the Institute for Citizens and Scholars, and trustee of National Public Radio station WMVY. He is an active supporter of efforts seeking to tackle pressing issues around economic disenfranchisement and education system deficiencies.
