Leopoldo Cedillo

Leopoldo Cedillo brings to ALI expertise in corporate leadership, business strategy, and industrial innovation. He most recently served as the chief executive officer of Grupo Proeza, a privately held holding company operating businesses in the industrial manufacturing, agribusiness, and healthcare sectors. Previously, Polo served as CEO of Grupo Proeza’s subsidiary, Metalsa, which is the world’s largest frame supplier to the automotive industry.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Polo has been deeply involved in education, entrepreneurship, and industry transformation. He serves as chairman of the advisory board for Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Engineering School and has held leadership roles in initiatives such as Nuevo Leon 4.0, which he founded to drive digital transformation in the region. Polo has also contributed to advancing small and medium-sized enterprises in Mexico through CAINTRA’s +PYMEX initiative and has mentored scholarship recipients as part of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Líderes de Mañana program.
