Marla Messing

Marla Messing brings to ALI experience in sports leadership, organizational transformation, and major event management across professional sports and global tournaments. Marla held senior leadership roles with the National Women’s Soccer League, U.S. Tennis Association, Major League Soccer, and FIFA World Cup organizing committees. Her work focused on business operations, strategic growth, sponsorship development, and athlete engagement across sports organizations and international events.

Marla serves on civic, educational, and sports-related boards and advisory groups focused on women’s leadership, athletics, and community engagement. She has served organizations including the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, the Los Angeles Sports Council, USA Gymnastics, and the City of Los Angeles Commission on the Status of Women. Marla also contributed to initiatives connected to Olympic planning and operations, women’s soccer development, and college athletics.
