Prior to ALI, Renu Thomas was executive vice president in charge of media operations, engineering, and information technology at Disney/ABC Television Group, establishing herself as one of the most prominent women technologists in television broadcasting and programming. Ms. Thomas also directed production activities for MacNeil/Lehrer Production and headed studio operations at NBC.
