Introduction to
University Engagement
Courses
You can audit courses almost anywhere across Harvard University! We have established relationships with each of the registrars across Harvard and MIT for ALI Fellows to audit courses, meaning that our process is unique. Below is a guide to support you through the ALI Fellow auditing process.
Centers and Initatives
Centers are groupings of faculty, research, news, and events on a similar topic. Each of the Harvard graduate schools have a list of centers and initiatives. This is a great way to find the key people and events focused on your area of interest!
Events
Events feature key faculty members from across Harvard University and guest speakers from around the world. There are more than enough newsletters that you can sign up for, so we have highlighted key links below to keep you up to date with latest events!
Faculty and Staff
Faculty members most often have Harvard University websites with key contact information and, occasionally, faculty assistants. Please use this guide to streamline your outreach to professors.
Students
There are many ways to engage with students — from classes to extracurricular activities. While students can share key information about their respective schools’ many offerings, ALI Fellows can offer practical insight from the impressive careers each of you have built.
