Chanoch (Allan) Barkat

Prior to ALI, Allan Barkat founded and led Dualis, a nonprofit social investment fund supporting for-profit social businesses employing vulnerable populations. Earlier he was managing partner for Israel at the global private equity firm Apax Partners, and vice president of worldwide marketing and sales for DSP Communications, a chipset and software developer acquired by Intel.
Allan has served on the Israeli Prime Minister’s Roundtable on Social and Business Coordination, chaired the Ness Fund for economic development of Israel’s Negev region, and been a board member for the Technoda Givat Olga child development center and the Ra’anana City Economic Development Company. He is a past captain in the Israel Defense Forces.
