Sean McAleer

Sean McAleer brings to ALI extensive cross-cultural leadership experience in the mining, industrial, and public sectors throughout the Americas. Sean held senior leadership roles at Pan American Silver, where he led strategic initiatives, human resources, and corporate affairs for the company, as well as subsidiaries in Argentina, Mexico, and Guatemala. His work focused on operational leadership, workforce development, safety, environment, government relations, labor negotiations, and community engagement in complex geopolitical and cross-cultural environments.

Sean has led initiatives focused on workforce training, leadership development, and organizational culture across global teams. He also managed community and stakeholder engagement efforts connected to mining operations in Latin America and worked extensively with labor unions, government officials, and local communities. Early in his career, Sean served as a captain in the United States Army.
