Donna Coté brings to ALI experience in investment, entrepreneurship, and community development across a wide range of real estate asset classes. Donna founded Coterra Companies, a real estate investment and development firm active in high-growth Southeastern U.S. markets. She previously led the real estate investment arm of a Forbes 400 family and held leadership roles at Ventas, a publicly traded real estate investment trust. Her work has centered on originating and growing real estate ventures, and assembling the partnerships and other resources needed to scale them.

Alongside her professional leadership, Donna founded the Chestnut Foundation, supporting wildlife rehabilitation, land conservation, and programs serving foster and underserved youth. She also collaborates with municipal leaders and local stakeholders on land use and community development initiatives and mentors emerging professionals and entrepreneurs.
